Common first-week confusion
I cannot make a recipe
Check that you have the exact material, enough pieces, and the right crafting space. Your small inventory grid handles basics; many recipes need a crafting table.

Write down your base coordinates when coordinates are available, build visible landmarks, carry simple supplies, and avoid exploring farther than you can return before dark.
My bed will not let me sleep
It must be night or a thunderstorm, and hostile mobs cannot be too close. Light the area and check outside before moving the bed.
My child and I cannot join each other
Confirm both players use compatible editions and versions, multiplayer is enabled, the account permissions allow online play, and the host world is open.
